Can English For Work Make A Difference?

It has been a while since my last blog post, our academy is soon approaching it's 7th year and I can't believe that it all started here. So much has changed, we now have a main website and 3 teachers with a fourth starting soon. We started many years ago teaching students in Spain but today we teach in 11 countries worldwide and now teach companies too, some of which are the largest in Europe.

There are many courses to choose from, our most popular being English For Work, this blog post is going to explain what modules are available and why we think we can make a difference to the way in which you learn English as a second language.

"Work smarter, not harder!"

First of all let us take a look at the modules, we have tried our best to cater to almost all professions.

Dates, time and money structures
Presentation Structures (Sales and data)
Email Training
Business Travel
Business Introductions
Delegation (common structures)
Small Talk
Business socialising (colleagues)
Business telephone (interacting with clients, message taking and structures.
Meeting structures
Conference calls
Client visits
Business Phrasal Verbs
Business Corporate lingo (vocabulary building)
Business Idioms

There are many more to choose from, all our material is written in-house so it's based on realistic scenarios from professionals just like you. Rather than just give you the theory which lets be honest you can get from nearly everywhere on the internet, we work with role play tasks.

So if we take the business phone for example, you will answer the phone using your real name and department, the teacher will act as a client and you will have to complete different tasks such as message taking. The way in which you react will change the outcome which makes learning fun.

Tasks are recorded so you can concentrate and not have to worry about how you can learn since there are plenty of materials to use outside of a classroom environment.

Penny Shaw is in the top 10 lesson plans used for our EFW course. It is based on a series of tasks that track you through your business day. From introducing people to each other on a professional level to phoning clients and organising business meetings, there is plenty of diversity.

We know our classes are unique and that as we begin our seventh year we can make a difference. Want to try? all you need to do is press this link. Thanks for reading and if you like what we do and how we do it, why not subscribe to this blog or join us on any of our social media sites, thank you.
