Directions

This is a lesson which requires a very lexical approach. I have listed some sentence constructions which are common place when giving directions.

 

You will see a large brick built building in front of you.

Turn left

Turn right

Continue or carry on going straight.

Take the first/ second turning on your right/ left.

When you get to the first set of traffic lights turn right.

Follow the road round.

Take the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or last exit.

You will see a ( landmark )

When you get to a junction continue straight.

There will be a petrol station on your left.

The .........( destination) is just there.
