If you want to learn English, it does not mean reading hundreds of pages of books or taking down pages and pages of notes. Learning the significance of words in sentence constructions and a steady pace of vocabulary building is all you will need to do. Pronunciation will get better with time, I always read articles of interest with my students to perfect this skill.
